HOW IS MY DONATION USED?
100% of proceeds raised from all events is donated to nonprofit animal rescues who are dedicated to saving lives of neglected, abused, and forgotten animals. Our support aids in providing necessary (sometimes critical) veterinary care as well as basic needs.
ARE TEAM MEMBERS OF CHARLIE & FRIENDS PAID?
No. Charlie & Friends is run and staffed completely by volunteers. All members and volunteers give of their time with no compensation and no profit.
I WANT TO GET INVOLVED BUT DON'T KNOW WHERE TO START. CAN I HELP?
Yes! Since we are completely run by volunteers and donors, the more the merrier! We are always thrilled to welcome others into our community. Visit our "Get Involved" or e-mail us to chat about how you can get on board. We'd love to hear from you!
DO YOU HAVE 501(C)3 STATUS?
Yes! We hold 501(c)3 status with the IRS, meaning all of your donations are tax deductible! We are also a registered nonprofit corporation with Pennsylvania Bureau of Corporations and Charitable Organizations.
